GENERAL

For each survivor pool, a list of all 16 games will be provided in chronological order based on game start time.

As a contestant, you must pick one box score stat and one of the teams for each game. The box score stats are the following:

    🏀 FGM (field goals made)
    🏀 FGA (field goals attempted)
    🏀 FG% (field goal percentage)
    🏀 3PM (three pointers made)
    🏀 3PA (three pointers attempted)
    🏀 3P% (three point percentage)
    🏀 FTM (free throws made)
    🏀 FTA (free throws attempted)
    🏀 FT% (free throw percentage)
    🏀 OREB (offensive rebounds)
    🏀 DREB (defensive rebounds)
    🏀 AST (assists)
    🏀 BLK (blocks)
    🏀 STL (steals)
    🏀 TO (turnovers lost)
🏀 PF (personal fouls called against selected team)

You may pick any stat for any game, but you may only use each stat once for the survivor pool (see examples below).

The team you pick for each game is the team that you expect to get the higher amount of the selected stat (e.g. if you expected the Gophers to make more 3-pointers than Louisville, you would check the box next to the Gophers logo and select 3PM in the corresponding dropdown on the entry form).

Note that this also applies to counterproductive stats such as TO and PF – selecting the higher amount results in a win.

Stats will be gathered from espn.com.

SURVIVOR POOL

Within each survivor pool (separate between Day 1, 2, 3/4), eliminations will occur until a winner is determined. Eliminations are based on the original game order on the entry form, not based on game finish times.

Each user starts with 3 lives ❤️❤️❤️.

If the team you select gets more of your selected stat than the opposing team, you advance to the next game.

If the team you select ties or gets less of your selected stat than the opposing team, you lose a life 💔. Once you lose all 3 lives, you are eliminated.

If there are multiple entries alive at the end of the survivor pool, tiebreakers are as follows:
    1) Most Lives Left
    2) Least Acts From Perfect (across all 16 games)

If all remaining entries are eliminated in the same game, the least Acts From Perfect across all 16 games will be used to determine a standalone winner. If there is still a tie after applying the tiebreaker, the prize will be split evenly amongst the winners. The Survivor Pool prize for each survivor pool (3 in total) is $50.

OVERALL WIN LEADER

Within each tournament, there is also a winner for the most wins (cumulative between Day 1, 2, 3/4). Tiebreakers to determine a standalone winner are as follows: 1) least Acts From Perfect across all 48 games, 2) most Net Acts across all 48 games. If there is still a tie after applying the tiebreakers, the prize will be split evenly amongst the winners. The Overall Win Leader prize is $50.

THE 16 GAME GAUNTLET

A prize will be awarded to the first person(s) to reach a perfect pool (16 wins on Day 1, 2, or 3/4). Once this prize has been awarded to one or more persons it will no longer be available. There are no tiebreakers for The 16 Game Gauntlet. In the event of a tie, the $50 prize will be split evenly amongst the winners.
